oops, i forgot to post this picture up.

haha its a tractor millipede :D
very cute ! it was crawling all ovr my hand and so darn ticklish! hahaha.
k anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Day 3
woke up at 4.30am i think.
we had to meet at 5am.
FINALLY, we do something that is related to our project - the coast.
actually the low tide is at 3am.
but they spare us, and give us 2more hours to sleep.
lol. there was hardly anything in the water la.
it was super dark and we had to carry our torches and stuff.
the night sky was absolutely breathtaking..
we were under a carpet of bright twinkling stars and it was simply just..amazing.
beautiful sight i tell you :D
so yeah, we did our quadrat.. some did line transect and yada yada.
there were much much much more stuff at pasir ris and labrador.
tioman beach has hardly any creatures at all!
aiyo, too clean already laaa. lol.
so anyway, we headed back to clean up around 7++.
had breakfast and then did our compiling of work etc.
rainforest people very lucky laaa. :(
they don't have to wake up early in the morning to go to the beach and stuff man.
whereas we, the coastal people, have to follow through the rainforest yada.
zZzz. for 4days, only about 4hours is actually meant for doing our project..
nevertheless, it was fun lol.
so yes, compiling our work.. we were sleepy..

ahahaha. okay uhm.. after our work was done, we had lunch!
then our free time from 1 to 3.
during which we.. ate ice ball(it was yummy!) and played cards.
ahahahah.
after that, we assembled again to go through the forest.
and we reached a turtle sanctuary! :D
btw, we saw so many cute squirrels scurrying along the cable lines.
awwhhh, so sweet! ^-^
hmm. at that turtle place, we saw the eggs in the hatchery!

turtle eggs! they can't be dug up or else the embryo might shift or smthg.


sleepy and laid back place..
after awhile, we went to the beach.
& i present you..
the stamford raffles of tioman island.

LOL. okay just being lame.. -_-..

mm. we trekked back ..
dinner. then went for night walk! lOl.
carrying torches etc.
we didn't really walk in.
anyway, we weren't allowed to switch on our torches most of the time.
it was rly dark and all.
wheee snakes!



btw, this is the dog-faced water snake or smthg. lol.
hmm. we also saw flying squirrel! and some other flying thingy i forgot it's name.
its membrane attached to its hands and legs so it can glide.
hmm.
the flying squirrel we saw was up the talltall botak coconut tree i think.
then it was carrying a baby.
SO CUTE. well, most of the time we were staring up it's butt.
our necks were aching like crazy and we were all waiting for it to fly.
lol. oh yes, the sky was beautiful as usual.
with stars and all.. wowwww. :D
ah well. we went to the beach after that for BONFIRE PARTY!
the fire was hothothot man! lol.
we sang songs and danced and roasted marshmellows! lollll. ;D


so many flying sparks or smthg. hahaha.
oh and by the way, you know we roasted marshmellows using branches we picked up off the ground in the rainforest? hahahahaha.
yups. so anyway after the whole thing ended, we went back to shower..
you can imagine or dirty and smelly we are after the whole day right ;p
ARGH. do ou know the power keeps tripping?
its only our row la! zZzz.
we were all scared and stuff.
cause like.. yah. paranoia la! LOL.
we played until we slept. don't know when either. hahahaha.
Day 4.. uhm
i shall update again when i come home. i g2g out.
i started blogging ever since i woke up and now its like 2pm.
WTF. where the my morning/afternn go?! AHHHHHH!
blogging takes up so much time.
i mean, it'll be very fast if i just type all the way.
but whats the use of descriptions and words without any pictures?!
haha so yes.. shall update later at night! :)
